Blades of Highcliffe opened in September 2002. We are a traditional barbers, covering all styles & keeping up to date with modern looks. Most of our stylists combine their knowledge of both hairdressing and barbering techniques to give you the cut you want.
We at Blades pride ourselves on being a friendly barbers with high standards of work and excellent customer service at the heart of what we do. In 2015 Tracey & Terrie joined forces and opened Blades second shop in Bearwood.
Blades of Bearwood has all the same services and high standards that you have come to expect in our Highcliffe shop.

Ear, Nose & Eyebrow Waxing
Tracey started her career at Bournemouth college 29 years ago. She trained as a hairdresser and beauty therapist. Upon leaving college she worked in the beauty industry for a while, before being invited by a friend to work in her barbershop ( although it took some persuading as she didn’t think it would be the career for her!!!). After working in a few shops over the years she realised she had found her niche, so when the opportunity arose to open her own shop she took it & in 2002 Blades of Highcliffe was opened then in 2015 Tracey joined forces with Terrie and Blades of Bearwood opened its doors. Tracey works between the two sites and still has a passion for her trade so likes to be very hands on still whilst running the shops.
Brad started his career at Rags in Bournemouth training in both ladies and gents hair, he moved onto work for another large hairdressing franchise locally before moving on to opening his own salon which he ran successfully until he decided to focus predominantly on gents hairdressing, he ran his own barber shop before joining our team in 2018.
Jack started his career back in 2009 as an apprentice working in a unisex salon, so he got to work with ladies and gents hair and regularly entered competitions to show off his cutting and colouring skills!! A couple of years ago he decided to concentrate more on gents hair and moved to a Bournemouth barber shop before joining us in 2021.
